Question: When Phil says that they'll have 4 days together, from the expression Alice has on her face, does that mean she was not intending to go at that point?

Question: I don't understand why Barker couldn't get unbuckled in the car. Why couldn't Artie just remove his hand from the seat belt?

THE GAMER NEXT DOOR

Answer: It's demonstrated throughout the film that Artie struggles with the modern way of doing things. This may extend to modern car seat belts with their five point harness systems. That and the fact they're already late for school and holding up the traffic makes it a stressful situation for Artie and it was probably easier (and to add comedy) for Artie just to rip the seat out with the boy still in it.

Question: When Alice, Dianne and Harper got in the house she said it was Phil calling but why would she lie when obviously Artie was talking on the phone to her? Also, why did Artie call Alice Mrs. Rosin?

THE GAMER NEXT DOOR

Question: I know Voldemort has lost all faith in Lucius, but why break his wand when he is needing a wand to kill Harry?

THE GAMER NEXT DOOR

Answer: He didn't break it. Lucius' wand had some kind of custom-made handle which Voldemort snapped off when he confiscated it.

Brian Katcher

Answer: Lucius' wand was part of his walking stick. The wand, that was attached to an ornate silver handle, fit into the cane's shaft and was removable. Lucius can be seen removing the wand from the cane at the end of Chamber of Secrets when he was about to curse Harry. When Lucius hands the wand to Voldemort, the Dark Lord detaches the silver handle from it. The "snapping" that was heard was an added sound effect that was a bit overdone.

Answer: He's angry because one of his men was using one of their alien weapons out in the open.

Answer: He's been stealing advanced technology and money unimpeded for several years, but now Spider-Man has interfered in two of his heists. He's frustrated and concerned about what will happen if the Avengers catch onto him.

Phaneron

Answer: Technically, he was on neither side. When Aberforth found out that Albus and Grindelwald had been collaborating on suppressing non-magical humans, he was outraged and strongly opposed his brother; it led to the three-way duel between Aberforth, Albus, and Grindelwald that resulted in Ariana's accidental death. Although Albus had rejected Grindelwald's beliefs and later defeated him in their own duel, the two brothers never fully reconciled.

Answer: The resurrection stone, one of the three Deathly Hallows, was hidden inside the Quidditch snitch that Dumbledore left Harry in his will. When Harry touched his lips to the snitch, it opened and released the stone. Voldemort had made Tom Marvolo's ring into a horcrux, but the ring itself was not one of the Deathly Hallows. Voldemort never knew that the ring's gem was the resurrection stone. When Dumbledore later found the ring, he removed the stone and hid it in the snitch.

Young Sheldon (2017)

Answer: It is shown numerous time in The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon that Georgir Jr is not the smartest kid going. They simply tell him Sheldon is getting a hair cut as it is believable. It's also shown that Sheldon has had the same style hair cut since he was 5. Since he is 9 in Young Sheldon, he's had the same style for over 4 years already. Easy to overlook that he hadn't actually had it cut after that long.

Answer: Because Neil thinks Charlie is old enough now that he should no longer believe in fantasy figures like Santa Claus.

Answer: Because some parents don't think it's logical thinking.

Men in Black 3 (2012)

Question: I really don't understand why K called J? All he said was that he owed him some answers, Regret was the most destructive force in the universe and that he promised him the secrets of the universe and nothing more?

THE GAMER NEXT DOOR

Answer: They had a falling out and K felt like he had to try and patch things up with J.

Men in Black 3 (2012)

Answer: Earlier in the movie, the way K was talking about Boris was different than what J had come to expect of his partner. So J wanted to know what happened between Boris and K at Cape Canaveral that changed him. So more of what did Boris do to K rather than just the report of what K did.

Question: Why are Fred and George so certain that people will pay for fake wands? Even if they lied and said that they were real, people already have their own wands?

THE GAMER NEXT DOOR

Answer: Same reason people by trick gum, or novelty goods in real life. A laugh.

X-Men 2 (2003)

Question: I don't get why Rogue is defending Bobby from what his parents are saying, because doesn't she hate her powers?

THE GAMER NEXT DOOR

Answer: She may hate her powers, but she also hates being persecuted for being a mutant when it's not her fault. Plus, she truly does think Bobby is gifted and that his mutant powers are special (they were able to share a kiss because of his powers).

Bishop73

Answer: She does, but she also knows her situation is not everybody's (her power kills people, Bobby's makes nice ice flowers), and as a fellow mutant and Bobby's friend she comes to his defense.

Answer: Romanoff's mission was to get the real files on Project Insight. Nick Fury suspected he was being kept out of the loop about Insight's true agenda. Even though Project Insight was a S.H.I.E.L.D. project, HYDRA had secretly taken control of it.

X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)

Answer: She's trying to be upfront and friendly, so he knows she's being truthful. That's all.

Question: When Hermione says "I'm sure Madam Pomfrey will fix it in a heartbeat" was she trying to be comforting or was she annoyed that Ron was over reacting about his leg?

THE GAMER NEXT DOOR

Answer: Ron was overreacting but Hermione's response was typical of what anyone would say to a person who's been injured, doing what they can to calm and comfort them. Ron always had a somewhat excitable personality.

raywest

Answer: She wasn't sad. They'd all just been through a rather harrowing and scary experience inside the Shrieking Shack, and she has been emotionally affected by it all. She's also worried about Ron, whose leg was injured.

raywest

Answer: Hermione was telling Harry to go over to Sirius, who had gone a little further ahead. Harry was torn between tending to Ron, who'd injured his leg, and wanting to talk to Sirius. Hermione thought it more important for Harry and Sirius to talk while she stayed with Ron. Harry had only found out moments before that Sirius was not responsible for murdering his parents, and he had much to discuss with his godfather.

raywest

Answer: Ron's leg had been injured and he couldn't walk any further. They needed to tend to him before going on. If Lupin had not transformed into a werewolf and Pettigrew not escaped, one of the others probably would have gone on to get help transporting Ron back to the castle.
