Corrected entry: When Jack is chased by the 'black tiger' when he first wanders around the forest, he jumps into the water to save himself. At night, he managed to light up his torch using the supposedly wet matchbox. (00:33:15)
Correction: Firstly, its JAKE not Jack, and secondly, being a soldier, he would be equipped with weatherproof and waterproof matches. Certainly military forces today have them, even more likely they would have them in the future.
Correction: Incorrect. Some of the major movies from over 60 years ago when adjusted for inflation beat Avatar comprehensively for budget costs. Even if we discard inflation, Pirates of the Carribean: At Worlds End cost and estimated $300million to make back in 2007.
