Corrected entry: Through most of the movie, General Lee is seen wearing an officer's frock coat with an erect collar and the rank insignia of Colonel (3 stars) on the outside of the collar. In every picture I've ever seen of Lee, he is wearing a frock opened on top with the collar laying flat and the Colonel stars on the inside of the collar. Toward the end Lee is finally seen wearing this coat.

The Haunting (1999)
Corrected entry: At night when the bloody footprints go call Nell, there are only footprints going out of the room. But the children had to go in anyway.

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade (1989)
Corrected entry: When the Nazi convoy enters the canyon the Nazi leader says "it must be one or two miles away from here" but if he is German wouldn't he use kilometres instead of miles?
Correction: Not in the late '30s. It took a while longer to become a standard (ie. daily usage) even in Europe.
It had been the official system since 1872... But they aren't speaking German either, so we can simply consider it translated.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003)
Corrected entry: When the league is tracking Dorian they receive a record to listen to. As they listen to the words, we see a black and white movie or flashback. At the beginning of that flashback Mina Harker is the one sitting next to the record player and tells M that he can now record. If she was there during his speech, she would have known that Dorian was in on it and his full plan all along.
Correction: It's not. If you read the credits, you will find that it's another woman - she looks a lot like Peta Wilson, but it's not her. I thought it was her, too, at first, until I read through the credits at the end and saw a listing for 'M's secretary' or 'transcriptionist', something like that.
Corrected entry: In the shot where Jack Sparrow uses the handcuffs to slide down the rope, if his hands were bound, and the rope was tied at the end, how did he get off and how did he get onto the rope in the first place?
Correction: He folds the chain in half and flips the loop over the rope and grabs the loop (the middle of the chain) to slide down the rope. His hands are still bound, but the chain is long enough to do this.

Correction: Could he not have had both styles, and only favored being photographed in the one? It's not like there were many candid photos in that day and age, so he would have had time to get changed into his flat-collar coat whenever he saw the tripod going up.
