Corrected entry: In the scene where Forrest "rescues" Jenny from the "assault" by the college student in the car, 1) Jenny gets out of the car too quickly considering her earlier, rather peculiar position, 2) when she gets through the right door she doesn't seem to open it - she just appears on the side of the car, 3) which would explain that the door doesn't get closed when the boy drives off in a huff. Corrected entry: When Mrs. Gump is reading to Forrest towards the beginning, she turns the page when she's interrupted by Forrests question. Then when she continues, she flips the page again to start where she left off. (00:09:45)
Correction: She was just startled and disturbed by his question and absentmindedly turned another page. Not a mistake.

Correction: It's a slow-motion scene and it's purposely duplicated to get the desired effect that this is a monumental moment for Forrest.
Correction: (1) Jenny wasn't in an awkward position; her date was; (2) huh?; (3) so what? older cars had heavy doors; it closed as he drove off.
