Trivia: The Dead Pool betting board (The "Daisy Pushers Club") includes several names of famous and semi-famous people... The person at the bottom right corner, "A. Palmer, age 86" appears to be a reference to Arnold Palmer, who passed away a few months after Deadpool was released, on September 25, 2016... At age 87.

Iron Man 2 (2010)

Trivia: When Tony is flipping through his father's notebooks, he comes across a sketch of an object that looks like a cube within a cube with lines connecting the corners. This object is called a tesseract, which is a three-dimensional model of a four-dimensional object. Or in this case, a two-dimensional drawing of a three-dimensional model of a four-dimensional object. This is a foreshadowing of The Tesseract, one of the Infinity Stones, which plays a huge part in several of the other Marvel movies.

Trivia: The director of the movie is Justin Lin. To honor his father, Frank, the name of the NX-326 is the Franklin. But if you look at a screen shot of the nameplate, you'll notice the name of the ship is actually "Frank Lin", not "Franklin " There's a space between the "K" and the "L "

The Martian (2015)

Trivia: The secret project created to use the Hermes to return to Mars to rescue Watney was called Project Elrond, a reference from the Lord of the Rings (also used in the original book of The Martian). Mitch Henderson, played by Sean Bean, was an attendee at the Project Elrond meeting. Sean Bean also played Boromir, who was an attendee at the Council of Elrond in the LOTR movie.

Trivia: When the Guardians are devising a plan to take the orb from Ronan, Quill claims to have "12%" of a plan. This is the same percentage of credit that Tony Stark was willing to concede to Pepper for the creation of Stark Tower in The Avengers.
