Trivia: David Jason was the fourth choice actor to play the character Del. Jim Broadbent (who later went on to play Roy Slater), Enn Rietel and Billy Murray were all asked before Jason but all turned it down due to other commitments. Jason was actually only picked four days before filming started on the first episode.

Continuity mistake: In the 07-02-08 episode, in the riot scene, after the riot police are told to close in on the rioters, and you see an overhead shot of them moving in. They are within touching distance of the rioters. In the next shot from behind the rioters, they are now quite a long way from the police.

Trivia: Comedian Phil Jupitus, makes a cameo appearance in this film as a journalist at the press conference at the start of the film.

Trivia: Actor Geoff Bell, who plays Tommy Hatcher (head of the Millwall firm), actually supports West Ham in real life and was reluctant to take the part as Tommy, as Millwall are big rivals with West Ham.

Revealing mistake: When the old man has a heart attack at the opera, watch as the paramedic puts the whole box of tic-tacs in his mouth, he obviously doesn't put them in his mouth but down the side of his cheek/face.
