Factual error: Bugsy was not watching a film when he killed just reading a news paper. He was not alone in the house - Hill's brother and a close friend of Bugsy were upstairs asleep, heard the shooting and called the police.

Factual error: Because of a childhood illness Frankie Valli was deaf for all the time he was the lead singer for The Four Seasons. He wore hearing aids in both ears and read lips. He had surgery on his ears in the early 1980's to correct his hearing.

Factual error: The last battle is fought in daylight. In fact in was still dark out on March 6. By dawn all the defenders were dead.
Suggested correction: The last battle started at 6:30 and the sun rose at 6:50, so when the battle started it was already getting light out.

Factual error: George Armstrong Custer was not involved with the US Army's attack on John Brown at Harper's Ferry in 1859. He was a a first year man at West Point and was not in the regular army until 1861.

Factual error: When the film goes through the years, it shows real ball game films, but none of them are from the 1920's, most of them are from late 1940's and early 1950's. One even shows Joe DiMaggio hitting.

Factual error: Jackie Robinson is playing a the 1947 New York Giants. But the Giants are wearing the wrong hats and uniforms for that era. The hats have the orange bill that was not used until 1972 with the San Francisco Giants and the uniform top was not used until the 1980's.
