Factual error: When Hendershot fired the LAW at the trucks, the double doors weren't affected. In reality, the doors would have been pulverized by the backwash of the rocket launching. If there is anything or anybody directly behind the LAW when it's fired for a distance of up to 25 feet, destruction or death is assured.

Continuity mistake: When the log truck is chasing Connie and Curtis, they look back and see it closing the distance. Then it pulls alongside, and Connie says "It's gonna bump us!" A second after that, the camera looks at them. They are looking back at the truck, rather than to their left where it supposedly is.

Revealing mistake: When the lawn mower starts itself and tries to pursue Deke, from the back, the front wheels are on the ground and rolling. From the front angle, the front wheels are off the ground. There is a piece of material on the front that was added to hide the steering rig used to make it turn to chase Deke, but the rig's wheels are just visible.

Continuity mistake: When the bike flips the kid in front of the scoreboard, the steamroller comes crashing out and kills him. It would have had to already been in motion for it to move like it did, therefore been seen moving before the breakout. If it was hiding behind the board and just starting to move, it would have been a lot slower.

Other mistake: When the Happy Toyz truck is first being fueled, the nozzle handle is locked into the fuel position. When you hear the click of the nozzle stopping, the handle doesn't disengage as it should. When the attendant checks it, he unlocks the handle, and doesn't squeeze it again. Even accounting for the comet's effects, the handle must be squeezed to splash fuel in the man's face.

Star Trek (1966)

Friday's Child - S2-E11

Revealing mistake: In the tent after Kirk and friends give up their weapons, there is a small fire in the holder in the center of the room. Although the flames are slightly off center to the camera's left, the are projections of flame light from off the camera's right offscreen.

The Running Man (1987)

Continuity mistake: When Killian is talking to Agnes about the next kill, as she replies, "That's a tough one," her left index finger is on the corner of her mouth. After the camera cuts to Killian, the hand in several inches lower.

The Running Man (1987)

Continuity mistake: When Buzzsaw runs by Richards, cutting the pipe in half, he has the chainsaw on his left hand. The camera watches Buzzsaw turn around, and you don't see the chainsaw, as the rider's left hand is on the handlebar, controlling the turn. The camera cuts to Richards for a second, then back, and the saw is on Buzzsaw's hand again.

Gilligan's Island (1964)

Gilligan's Personal Magnetism - S3-E21

Visible crew/equipment: Toward the end, the group is around the table, talking about Gilligan. Then they see a pear and a bunch of grapes float over to a plate at the head of the table. Skipper goes over and addresses the invisible Gilligan. If you look at the top of the hut, you can see the wires used to make the fruit float. Also, earlier in the hut with Ginger, when Gilligan bit the pear, you can see the wire holding the pear as it shakes after the bite.

Factual error: When Doom reaches into the cab of the Dip vehicle and starts it, it doesn't jump. It is a modified military vehicle, and it's a standard. If you try to start a standard vehicle without pressing the clutch in to disengage the gears (the weasel driver left it in gear when he died), then the vehicle would lurch forward as the engine turned over.

Stalag 17 (1953)

Trivia: One of the actors in the movie was Edmund Trzcinski. He was actually an American POW in a German Stalag, and wrote a play based on his experiences there. From there, the movie was made, based on the play, and he was actually cast in a role, as himself, re-creating it for the silver screen.

Jaws (1975)

Trivia: Brody's line, "You're gonna need a bigger boat", was actually a total ad-lib. The director wanted a real reaction to the shark popping up really close to him, so they didn't tell Roy Scheider that it was going to happen. It was a total surprise. Not only did he react naturally, it scared him so badly that he forgot the correct line. So, when he looked at Quint, he ad-libbed, and they left it in the movie. (It was number 35 on the top 100 Most Memorable Movie Quotes list).
