Quantom X

Plot hole: When The Ray is injured on Earth X and has Red Tornado's cortex, he escapes by Vibe sending him into a portal to safety. However it is evident that Vibe doesn't know where he sent The Ray or where he would be going as later he's trying hard, searching the multiverse for him. Yet somehow The Ray is able to go across universes and winds up coming out right at Earth 1's Ray's feet to transfer his powers over to Ray and give him the Cortex. This makes no sense. The Ray can't control Vibe's powers or where he sends him, so he would have had no way of making himself exit the portal in Ray's back yard. And if Vibe sent him there on purpose, he wouldn't have been struggling to figure out where he went. The only way it makes sense at all is for it to be the most massive co-incidence possibly imaginable where he accidentally was sent to another universe and happen to come out right at the feet of that universe' version of himself. None of it adds up. (00:09:50 - 00:16:50)

Overgirl: Why are you fighting? This isn't your world! This isn't your fight!
The Ray: You threatened to breach your way to my Earth, remember? And even if you didn't... I'd still kick your ass.
(01:04:55)

Quantom X

[A Nazi holds Vibe at gunpoint.]
Overgirl: This is very simple. With his powers, the Reich can open breaches all across the Multiverse. We will raise the Nazi Flag over infinite earths. Stand down, and we'll spare yours. Think of your family, think of your friends.
The Ray: I am thinking of them! And they want me to tell you to go to Hell!
Overgirl: Does't sound all that unpleasant.
(01:02:30)

Quantom X

Cisco Ramon: What's your plan when you get there?
Ray Terrill: Find other members of the Resistance before I get killed by Super Nazis.
Cisco Ramon: Good plan.
(00:56:20)

Quantom X

Cisco Ramon: If what's going down on Nazi Earth is as serious as you say, you shouldn't be heading over there without backup.
Ray Terrill: I can't let anyone else get hurt because of me, Cisco.
Cisco Ramon: Does that include Barry killing me when he finds out I let you do this alone?
Ray Terrill: You don't have to tell him.
Cisco Ramon: Fair point... I have to say it, it might sound weird... But I can't believe I'm missing out on Nazi Earth.
Ray Terrill: Cisco, you're seriously the only person who wants to visit Nazi Earth...
Cisco Ramon: Yeah, that's probably true.
(00:55:40)

Quantom X

Cisco Ramon: So you want me to send you to an Earth overrun by Nazis, including a Nazi Supergirl?
Ray Terill: Uh... yeah.
Cisco Ramon: My life is sooo weird sometimes.
(00:55:25)

Quantom X

[Red Tornado's hologram appears.]
John Trujillo: Wait wait wait wait! What's going on, Ray!?
Ray Terrill: How should I know?
John Trujillo: It's your weirdo paper weight from crazy town! This is exactly what you should know.
(00:18:40)

Quantom X

John Trujillo: I honestly don't know what's more pathetic. Your mom's use of emojis or the fact that you're 22 and still live with your parents. (00:13:45)

Quantom X

John Trujillo: You can't close our whole department... People rely on us!
City Councilman: Let's be honest, the communities you're talking about didn't vote for me. I'm focusing on the ones that did.

Question: If Overgirl is Supergirl from Earth X, and Supergirl gets her powers the same way that Superman does, from sunlight, then how is The Ray, whose powers are based on using yellow light, able to hurt her with his powers? Wouldn't his blasts help her?

Quantom X

Answer: My understanding is the Ray uses pure light for his powers while Superman and Supergirl get their power from the solar energy of a yellow sun, not yellow light.

Bishop73

I see. But if it was from pure light, wouldn't his powers have a white glow and not a yellow glow?

Quantom X

Most likely just a styling choice. I just know the basics details of his powers and not sure why it comes out yellow (or if it's even stated.) Perhaps for the the same reason the sun appears yellow, short wavelength light becomes scattered.

Continuity mistake: After righting for a bit, Overgirl and The Ray land on a street and she asks him why is he fighting for a world that's not his. In the wide shot, he is standing so his whole body is facing towards her. When it cuts to a close up, he's suddenly turned to the side with his head looking at her. (01:05:00)

Freedom Fighters: The Ray mistake picture

Continuity mistake: As Ray is giving a speech to the Resistance members on Earth X, one blond haired soldier is looking up at him and then smiles. It then cuts to a view of a different soldier with the blond guy still in the frame and instantly he is no longer smiling. (01:00:20)

Quantom X

Continuity mistake: Ray runs into his room to find Overgirl holding Red Tornado's cortex in her hand. A couple of shots later after she taunts him, she has her hands down at her sides with her fists balled and the cortex is missing. Only to appear in her hand again a couple of shots later for Ray to take. Her hand is too small, and the cortex too large for her to have simply just concealed it in her fist in the shot where it's missing. (00:50:40)

Quantom X

Continuity mistake: In the city as the heroes are fighting a giant robot, The Ray leads the robot into Green Arrow's web of beam arrows and it gets stuck, allowing them to attack it. The robot is stuck facing the beam web with its back clear. When The Ray blasts it hard from above and the robot falls backwards, the beams are suddenly on its back. (00:44:40)

Other mistake: After Ray patches up his shoulder from being shot, he heads out answering a call from Jacob. As he's talking he gets hit in the neck by a sleep dart and his phone is shown. The screen still shows an incoming call, rather than one in progress. (00:38:20)

Freedom Fighters: The Ray mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Overgirl, Blitzkrieg, and Black Arrow find Vibe at his computers, he dives to the right towards a hatch in the floor that is open. This hatch magically materialized from nothing as it was not there just a moment before. (00:36:00)

Freedom Fighters: The Ray mistake picture

Continuity mistake: Back at the bar, the table to the right of Ray and John where Ray's future boyfriend, Jacob, is sitting has a light sitting on it. The light is right in the center of the table. Then after John points to them guy sat that table and it shows them from a different angle, the light is suddenly closer to the edge and towards the right. (00:25:30)

Quantom X

Freedom Fighters: The Ray mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Ray starts to levitate in John's house, he looks down and he is hovering right above the table with the couch to his right. In the next shot, the table has suddenly vanished and it's now showing that the wall across from the couch with the TV and chair are on his right. (00:20:25)

Quantom X

Continuity mistake: After The Ray from Earth X comes and gives his powers to Ray, Ray goes to John's house and is telling him the story. The establishing shot is of Red Tornado's cortex sitting directly on the wood of the table, but when the camera jump cuts to higher up at them talking, the cortex is suddenly sitting on a book on the table. Then when Ray sits down on the couch next to John, the books have vanished and the cortex is just sitting on the wood again.
