Trivia: Fikshun, the actor who played Blade, was asked on set if he could flip the lever-action shotgun and load it with the finger twirl. Continuity mistake: After a brief clash of swords, Blade blocks one of Buffy's attacks and then shoulder-checks her hard. In one shot, his shoulder makes contact with her and he turns to be looking forward, then in the next shot, his shoulder hasn't hit her yet and he's staring right at her only to hit her again. Trivia: Monty Oum, the creator of RWBY, was working with Death Battle on a few projects before his death in 2015. He once stated that he would like to do a battle between Ruby and Maka. Death Battle had been planning to do that battle for some time after Monty passed away, and so they finally honored that by making this the 200th episode of Death Battle, 10 years after he passed.

He turns fully around and is about to swing his blade, then the camera cuts and suddenly his back is to her again before he swings. When the camera cuts from a close-up to a further shot, Buffy's arm goes from being bent like an L shape to almost straight, and the bangs of her hair become much neater when it looked sort of messy before. Then, in the next shot, as Blade starts to use the arrow to stab more vampires, the camera shows down the length of the bar towards the direction Buffy just fired it from, but she's not there. Note the stage lights behind her in the first shot for orientation. (00:18:47)
