Revealing mistake: During the glider scenes, they use aerial shots of stuntmen in a real glider and then a prop/dummy one with a blue screen for the close up shots of Thomas and Catherine inside the cockpit. The actual glider has a second rear cockpit control box that you can see in all the aerial shots.The rear pilot is at least 5 feet back from the front one. In the close-ups, with the prop/dummy one, the rear cockpit box is gone and they show Thomas actually leaning on Catherine's back. The actual glider also has a much larger wingspan, fuselage, and cockpit. Again, you see this during the take off shots and all the aerials. When they land in the field and crawl out of the dummy/prop, the tail is only about 5 feet back from the cockpit. (01:04:50 - 01:06:05)

Continuity mistake: When TC opens the briefcase to steal the Monet, the thumb of his latex glove is ripped wide open, which would leave fingerprints. After he places the painting in the briefcase, the next shot shows him closing the brief case and the glove has magically repaired itself. (00:20:10)

Visible crew/equipment: When Kevin and Pam are watching the police video of the Moyez raid, as Kevin walks behind Pam, in the wall of windows behind him, you can see the camera man filming and watch him as he swings left to right following Kevin in the shot. (00:30:30)

Continuity mistake: Thomas Crown comes into the police station to identify the thieves. As he is getting ready to leave, Catherine eavesdrops on his conversation as she fixes herself a cup of coffee. She then watches him out the window, drinking her coffee, as he runs to his car. The paper coffee cup changes from a purple swirl design with a little bit of green to a blue and white, geometric border with what appears to be an Asian design. (00:32:30)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Greg comes in to his parents bedroom and they are having fun with whipped cream, there are 2 pillar candles by the door. These candles are seen in several of the shots showing Greg. The flames keep going out and relighting, but the candles are too new for the flame to be just dipping out of sight, and besides those sort of candles will often glow near the top when that happens. They must have kept blowing out between takes and the crew kept lighting them. (00:48:40)

Continuity mistake: In the hotel scene where Darby calls Gavin to give him the instructions to meet her the next day, he eats one of the chocolates on his pillow and throws it down. They show a close up of the chocolates. After Khamel murders Gavin, he walks to the bed, pulls the recording device and eats one of the chocolates. They are now in a different spot on the bed. Continuity mistake: When Thomas and Catherine are having breakfast and his servant Paul brings Catherine's special "green" drink, it changes colors. When Paul has it on the tray and sets it down on the table, it is a very deep olive green. When she goes to actually drink it, it's now a light pastel turquoise blue color. (01:02:20)

Continuity mistake: During the fondue dinner, Little Jack is in his crib, which is right next to the table between Dina and Jack. Then in the next couple of shots the crib is gone, it then reappears again at various times with and without LJ. (00:38:30)

Continuity mistake: When Greg sees Jack in the mirror, Jack has one hand behind his back and yet when Greg looks at Jack directly in front of him, both of Jack's hands are behind his back. (01:25:30)

Visible crew/equipment: When Thomas Crown exits the museum after having stolen the Monet, we see a couple of strange characters, probably crew members, standing on the ledge of the building just behind the cab he gets into. The man with the mask is the most interesting. (00:20:15)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the two sets of parents meet for the first time on the island, Bernie hugs Greg leaving his sweat mark on Greg's shirt which also looks wrinkled. This changes to there being no wetness at all, some wetness and then very wet again in between shots of him. When he enters the house, his t-shirt is totally smooth and dry. (00:21:25 - 00:23:20)
