The Goonies (1985)

Corrected entry: When Mikey holds the doubloon up from a distance, the two rocks and the lighthouse are a perfect match for the three holes in the coin. If the coin was really from 1632, how could the lighthouse even be in it? Lighthouses weren't made until a LONG time later in the 1800's or so.

MasterChief3624

Correction: First of all, lighthouses have been around since the Egyptians (Pharos lighthouse was built in 280 BC). It's lens-based lighthouses that were constructed starting in the early 1800's, but there's no reason there couldn't have been another structure or a rudimentary "warning light" station where the present lighthouse was constructed, that the doubloon was made to reference.

The Machinist (2004)

Corrected entry: In the scene where we are introduced to Ivan, Reznik pushes in the car's cigarette lighter. It takes a good 30-40 seconds, I believe, to finish lighting. Later in the movie, when he pushes it in again, it takes only a few seconds to light.

MasterChief3624

Correction: It does take long for the lighter to work, but because hes imagining the meeting, it could have been only a second in real time.

Saw (2004)

Corrected entry: When Jigsaw gets up off of the ground, when he says to Adam "the key to that chain is in the bathtub", if you look at his inner right arm, there is a black wire on it. The wire is attached to his arm by masking tape.

MasterChief3624

Correction: How is it a mistake? Jigsaw might have been using the wire and had to keep it in place.

Cars (2006)

Corrected entry: When Lightning Mcqueen's body is redone in Radiator Springs, the change does stay when he is in the Piston Cup. However, after the Piston Cup, back in Radiator Springs, his body is the re-do, just with the Lightyear wheels instead of his redone ones.

MasterChief3624

Correction: How is this a mistake? Perhaps, he wanted to keep that racing edge and kept the Lightyear tires on.
