The Game Plan (2007)

Corrected entry: When the film opens the the football game being played is in the 4th quarter. Take a look at the players uniforms. The white pants are not dirty at all. After 60 minutes of playing on grass all the players' uniforms would not be still clean.

Frank Scialdone

Correction: The stadium they're playing in (Gillette Stadium) has a FieldTurf playing surface, not grass, so there would be no mud or grass stains.

The Cooler (2003)

Corrected entry: When William H. Macy and Maria Bello are on he road side and the hitman has a gun pointed to their head we can see the oncoming headlights from the drunken driver glowing on their faces. When the drunk driver runs over the hitman the light is still shinning on their faces even though the car has passed them.

Frank Scialdone

Correction: I believe that the couple is in the headlights of the patrol car.

Shoot 'Em Up (2007)

Corrected entry: In the very beginning we see Mr. Smith eating a carrot. He bites the pointed end and eats it. Later he kills the bad guy by sticking the carrot in his mouth and punching it through the back of his head. The carrot, as it's sticking out the bad guy's head, now has no signs of being bitten at all and has its original point on it.

Frank Scialdone

Correction: Smith has more than one carrot on his person. He had a carrot two thirds gone that he was dipping in his soup/coffee when he was sitting on the bench watching the woman run by, then he had another carrot that he bit the end off of. He obviously had another carrot which he used to kill the henchman.

Flightplan (2005)

Corrected entry: When Kyle is running down the aisle, she is taken down by the Arab gentlemen. When she hits the ground she has a bruise on her right cheek. Throughout he rest of the film the bruise is on her left cheek.

Frank Scialdone

Correction: When looking at Kyle from an overhead view as she lies on the ground, it appears as if she has a bruise on the right side of her face. Her right is in fact our left, meaning that she was bruised on her left cheek as correctly portrayed throughout the movie.

Zodiac (2007)

Correction: Not necessarily a mistake. I still have last year's calendar hanging in my kitchen. Some of us are just lazy.

WhyJillWhy

Seems like an error to me. Being lazy to take down an old calendar is understandable, but the movie text states the date is December 1983 and the calendar is showing February 1980. Leaving an old calendar up for almost 4 years in public view seems unlikely, and suddenly stopping even using that calendar in February seems equally unlikely. I'm inclined to think that the scene was shot with all props in place, and date text for those final scenes was added towards the end of editing and the calendar was overlooked at that point.

Corrected entry: When George (Steve Martin) is "losing it" in the grocery store he removes 4 hot dog buns from 3 packages. The manager is upset and tells George he has to pay for those 4 buns. Does it really matter if he takes 4 buns out? No. I'm sure if the hot dog bun packages were rung up it would show the regular price regardless off how many buns are in the package. We can assume that if George made it to the check out stand he would have made a ruckus there too.

Frank Scialdone

Correction: It's not a plot hole. Whether or not it matters isn't the point. The point is that George is having a breakdown. And he's leaving the buns on the shelf, which WOULD be a problem for the manager, regardless of whether the package rang up at full price or not.

CocoCami

Corrected entry: When Richard Jenkins/Frank Bascom is talking to Jim Carrey/Dick Harper on his cell phone in the bank parking lot he tells Jim Carrey he sees the WOMAN bank employee walking towards him. He tells Jim Carrey that SHE knows that her car has NOT been stolen because she can see her car. But this is impossible since Jim Carrey never told Richard Jenkins or anyone else that he made up that story about her car being stolen just moments ago.

Frank Scialdone

Correction: They would have to assume that the bank employee would be at her desk and that a diversion would be required. The story we see is what they had previously agreed.
