Air Force One (1997)

Corrected entry: When they attempt to land at Ramstein AB, Germany, the base launches some F-15's, problem is, there are no F-15's stationed at Ramstein.

Correction: Ramstein Air Force Base is a HUGE European stopover for aircraft coming in and out of the area. Even though they don't have facilities for a permanent F-15 squadron doesn't mean they don't come in and out frequently. I live at Robins AFB in Georgia, and we see TONS of choppers come in and out on a regular basis, even though there aren't any stationed here permanently.

Correction: It is entirely possible that the F-15s and their crews are on a short deployment.

Armageddon (1998)

Corrected entry: Both teams have to drill an 800-foot hole in the asteroid (even though only one team made it to a drilling location). They are doing this in an area that the ground is mostly metal and they are using metal drill bits. The bits the drillers use in the movie are known as "rock bits" and will not cut through metal. There are special bits known as "milling" bits to do that.

Correction: Having to drill through the metal was an error on their behelaf. They hadn't intended to land there at all, and therefore weren't prepared for it. They had to use what they had on hand to attempt to get the job done as well as possible.

Corrected entry: When Susannah arrives at the ranch Pet and Isabel stand by the stairs. However, a bit later Susannah goes to the garden where Isabel Two is and greet her like they were meeting for the first time. It is very unlikely they weren't introduced to each other on arrival. (00:11:45)

Correction: Even though Isabel Two is treated as one of the family, they are all aware that she is the half breed (only using this terminology because it was the term used then) child of the ranch employee. Essentially a servant. They are all very conscious of the fact that Susanna seems to be very proper and well heeled, and may have assumed she may not want to be introduced to a person in that position in front of the family. They all learn that evening that she also regards I2 as family, so the situation could have been avoided, but it obviously wasn't.

Corrected entry: Ferrets do not make anything like the noises the ferret in the movie makes. Most of the time they are completely silent, except when they are happy or excited, when they make soft 'dooking' noises. Other times they will make a soft hiss when playing/roughhousing. But they never sound like sick mice. (00:33:20)

Correction: I had a ferret that made noises very similar to what Rodolfo made all the time.

Corrected entry: Will Smith's son is given a basketball as a gift. Later on, when he tells his son they are gonna go back home, he says, "We are gonna get you home to your football."

Correction: Totally plausible as a character mistake. His concern wasn't the fact that it was one ball over another, just that his son was placated and felt important.

Never Been Kissed (1999)

Corrected entry: Drew Barrymore's character is supposed to be 25 years old. If she graduated even at age 17 she would have graduated in 1990 yet the flashbacks and the advertising lead you to believe the senior year sequences take place in the mid-80s. Impossible.

Correction: The point of her sporting 80's fashion is to point out that she was not in touch with what was current at the time.

Return to Oz (1985)

Correction: It is entirely possible that it held this record for some time, but in 1994, Scarlett, the sequel to Gone with the Wind came out. Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind both came out in 1939, so Scarlett came out 9 years later and therefore would knock Return to Oz out of that spot.
