Blades of Glory (2007)

Corrected entry: Whenever a gold medal is shared in any competition, there is no silver medal awarded, just two golds and a bronze. But we see four winners in the opening scene - 2 golds, a silver and a bronze.

Jason Feng

Correction: We are also talking about a made up competition in a fictional movie. Yes, the World Wintersports Games are based on the Olympics, but that doesn't mean all the rules are the same.

Rocky Balboa (2006)

Corrected entry: It was announced at the end that Mason Dixon was still the heavyweight champion of the world. But this was an exhibition bout, so even if Rocky had won, Dixon would still be the champion. So there was no need to announce it.

Jason Feng

Correction: Yes there was. Mason IS the champion and HAS just won the fight. The fact that the title was not on the line doesn't matter, the announcer is just doing his job, announcing the proper title of the winner of the fight.

Casino Royale (2006)

Corrected entry: When 007 returns to the table after Felix stakes his rebuy, a few hands have been played. In a poker tournament, you must rebuy immediately after you lose your money.

Jason Feng

Correction: There is a break in the action once Bond loses all his chips (which is why he runs into Felix, Felix would be at the table if the game was still going). There was plenty of time to rebuy before the action started up again.

Red Eye (2005)

Corrected entry: The interior shots of the plane show 25 rows or so, but in the exterior shot, there are more than 30 windows, meaning a much bigger airplane.

Jason Feng

Correction: Usually there are about 2 windows per seat row, even though one might be right next to the headrest. Fuselages are built with the windows at fixed spacing. Seat spacing is an airline's choice so the windows can end up at different locations relative to the seats and throw off the count.

Flightplan (2005)

Corrected entry: There are so many people who would have seen Julia before she was taken. Only one of the stewardesses was in on the plot, so any of the others would have seen the child in the beginning. As well, any people within two or three rows of Row 26 would have seen the child.

Jason Feng

Correction: Not necessarily. Even though they are the first to board the plane, Julia almost immediately begins playing on the floor (and almost under the seats) and would not be easily noticed by people walking by as they are boarding the plane.

Steph_Jared

Correction: Do you take note of every person on a plane? Also, Julia appears to be a well behaved child, so it's likely she wouldn't have drawn attention to herself. Try it next time you're in a crowded restaurant, ballgame, etc. Study the crowd for 5 to 10 minutes, then close your eyes and see how many people you can accurately remember as well as where they were sitting.

Red Eye (2005)

Corrected entry: Between the time when Lisa stabbed Jackson with the pen and Lisa running over the hitman, Jackson had a lot of time to call the hitman to kill Lisa's father.

Jason Feng

Correction: Jackson could barely talk and was more focused on hunting her down than in killing her father. Either he didn't get around to it, or he couldn't make himself understood. Finally, didn't Lisa steal his phone?
