Combat! (1962)

Crossfire - S4-E8

Factual error: As Stevens charges the German machine gun nest, he fires more bullets than his M-1 rifle could hold (the rifle could hold only eight rounds per clip).

Combat! (1962)

Crossfire - S4-E8

Continuity mistake: As Sgt. Saunders and Pvt. Stevens are about to enter the HQ, in the close up shots are several soldiers walking out of the HQ towards them. In the long shot of Saunders and Stevens the soldiers have disappeared.

The Raider - S4-E16

Continuity mistake: During The Gun battle at the farmhouse, the number of bullet holes striking the window frame varies from scene to scene. Also, the window frame gets shot to pieces, but in subsequent scenes the window frame is intact-aside from the bullet holes in it.

The Losers - S5-E2

Factual error: As Sgt. Saunders and his squad dodge artillery fire in the ruined city, modern high-tension electrical towers are shown. Also, no electrical towers whatsoever would have survived a prolonged artillery bombardment without being damaged or destroyed.

The Hell Machine - S3-E28

Continuity mistake: The American soldiers lift out the bodies of the two German tankers and immediately start off in the German tank. They did not have time to hide/dispose of the bodies, yet when other German units show up shortly after, the bodies are missing.

Combat! (1962)

The Hell Machine - S3-E28

Other mistake: When the German soldiers are on the radio alerting other German units of Americans in a captured German tank, they are using the English word "tank"- the Germans should be using the word "panzer", instead.

The Long Wait - S3-E25

Factual error: The long shots show the supporting tank reversing, but the close up shot of the tank's drive sprocket shows the drive sprocket moving forward, thus the tank should be moving forward, not reversing.

The Duel - S3-E4

Continuity mistake: The first shot of the German tank shows the tank commander's station on the left side of the turret; later on and for the rest of the episode the TC's station is shown on the right side of the turret. Note: WWII German tanks had the TC station on the left side of the turret while most American tanks during and after WWII had the TC station on the right side of the turret. The tank used in this episode was a Korean/Vietnam War-era American M-41 Walker Bulldog.
