King Kong (2005)

Corrected entry: After Kong breaks loose from the chains, in some shots the chain tower on the left side disappears: there is nothing next to the platform stairs.

Correction: The sequence runs from 2:29:20 through 2:30:45. Both towers are always there although it seems to be that something changes on the left (facing the picture) group of stairs.

King Kong (2005)

Corrected entry: When Ann is climbing up the ladder at the top of the Empire State, she has discarded her high-heeled shoes (although we don't see them there is a brief flash of foot past her skirt from above and she climbs far too fast to have them on). Yet when the ladder breaks, Kong catches her and deposits her safely inside the building and the shoes have reappeared on her feet.

Correction: Ann's shoes (silver) are clearly visible at 2:46:35, 2:49:05 and especially at 2:49:40 when she's hanging from the ladder. Can't imagine any reason why she would have wanted to remove them.

King Kong (2005)

Corrected entry: When Carl is waiting behind the wall to trap King Kong, the sailor holding the machete (before Preston takes it) is the same guy who got kicked off a cliff during the Brontosaurus chase. I'd figure a 1000+ foot drop would've surely killed the man, and even if it somehow didn't I don't see how he found his way back up to meet with the rest of the crew.

Correction: The crew member who is pushed off the cliff by the "longnecks" is an older man with a gray beard and mustache; he's wearing mostly brown clothing. The man holding the machete is much younger, no beard, no mustache and dressed mostly in blue.

King Kong (2005)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Carl, Jack some of the other people are fighting off the insects, just before the young man pulls the bullet magazine out of the bag; you can see what looks like a skeleton to his right. Between the ribs on the left part of the skeleton, a wheel and other mechanical-looking objects can be seen.

Correction: Not sure it's a wheel and, even if it is, why would this be a mistake? Unusual, certainly, but who knows what other ships found the island and what the natives offered to Kong?

King Kong (2005)

Corrected entry: When we first come into the galley, several crossed-out lines of writing can be seen on the chalkboard mounted on the wall. When the crew enters to confront Denham about their true destination, the chalkboard is mostly blank, with only a couple of faint smudges.

Correction: There are actually TWO blackboards. The one with the hash marks in the first one we see as the shot pans into the room. It is directly in front of Carl and to Colin's right. During the "discussion of destination" scene, the camera never goes back in this direction. The second blackboard (the one with the smudges) is directly outside the galley where Lumpy is standing.

School of Rock (2003)

Corrected entry: When Rosalie walks into the staff room to tell the teachers that it's parents' night, the camera shows her walking into the center of the room. In the face on shot, however, she is talking in the door way. (00:52:10)

Correction: Rosalie enters the room, but does not move to the center. She stops directly alongside the librarian in the blue chair. She remains in this position for the entire shot.

Corrected entry: In the coffin, The Bride looks down to her feet and you can see a small camera disguised as a knot in the wood. It's used to take subsequent shots. (00:57:55)

David Mercier

Correction: It IS a knot hole. No camera that would be even remotely useful to a film crew would have a lens that small. Besides, I'm sure the coffin was constructed so that the sides, top, etc. could be removed for filming, so why would they resort to this?

Tax Dude

Corrected entry: Watch the clock behind Uma Thurman when she is talking to the assassin sent by Lisa Wong. The time says 2:52, then 2:53 in the next shot and then 2:54 in the next shot, although not a minute has passed. Then in the next shot it says 2:52 again. (01:51:10)

Correction: Time code is 1:51:10 and, as far as I could tell the clock's numerals are too blurred throughout this sequence to tell what time it's showing. The blurring may have been deliberately done on the DVD to fix the mistake.

The Perfect Score (2004)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Anna sits with her parents to talk to the rep from Brown University, in one of the shots from behind Anna you can see a red camera light on the wall over the rep's right shoulder. (00:18:45)

Correction: It's not a camera light, it's the tail/brake light of a car that's passing the front of the house. And it's not "on the wall", it's seen (very, very briefly) through the front window.

The Perfect Score (2004)

Corrected entry: Kyle (in the white-haired mask) tosses a rope ladder down the ETS skylight. In the shot from above, he is wearing a black glove; in the following shot from below, he is barehanded. (00:47:10)

Phoenix

Correction: This is a trick of lighting. The shot from above is backlit (from below) causing Kyle's entire arm to look black. The silhouetted hand shows articulations at the knuckles that wouldn't show with a glove.

Paycheck (2003)

Corrected entry: Before Rachel goes out and meets up with the guy that Jimmy sends to look after her before she goes to work, she puts her purse on. Initially, the purse is around her left shoulder. After she walks through the door, it is across her chest and on her right shoulder. (01:03:10)

Correction: The strap starts across her body and the bag is on her left shoulder. They remain exactly that way as she exits the door.

Paycheck (2003)

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the movie, Colin Feore was at the controls of the machine that could look forward into the future. While he was on the machine, he was wearing a grey jacket. However, when the machine showed himself getting killed, he was wearing a brown jacket. (01:40:05 - 01:46:25)

Correction: This is a trick of lighting. He's wearing a blue pinstripe suit and a blue striped tie during the last half of the movie. Both are clearly visible as he's standing at the machine as well as on the screen.

Paycheck (2003)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the people from Allcom are chasing Michael on the motorcycle, and the first car flips over, you can see that there is no one in the car.

Correction: If you're talking about the car that's struck by the semi, you can clearly see that the driver is thrown down onto the passenger's seat (out of view). If you're talking about the car that runs into the bulldozer, the driver is readily apparent (you can see his hands on the wheel right before the explosion).

Paycheck (2003)

Corrected entry: When Jennings is being dragged up to the catwalk by the cable around his neck, you can see someone's feet on the catwalk, in the upper right hand corner of the screen. (01:44:15)

Correction: They're not "someone's" shoes on the catwalk. They're clearly Jimmy's shoes and he's standing on the mobile tower contraption.

Paycheck (2003)

Corrected entry: When the machine blows up, Umma and Ben jump from the catwalk onto transparent drapes. Umma's drapes get torn and she starts falling when Ben catches her. You then see Ben's drapes being torn but now they only fall a few feet before hitting the ground. They were much higher up to begin with. (01:48:10)

Correction: They don't fall to the floor (which is what makes this somewhat deceiving) - they fall onto a part of the catwalk.

Paycheck (2003)

Corrected entry: Jennings rents a room after he escapes from the FBI and empties the paper bag onto the bed to see what is inside. When he looks at the slip of paper with the quote on one side and the lottery numbers on the other, the numbers are in red. In the shot of his hand placing the paper back on the bed, the numbers are black. (00:40:20)

Correction: In the shot of his hand placing the paper back on the bed, the numbers are still red.

Paycheck (2003)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Jennings is being chased on the motorcycle, he jumps over a big pile of rocks followed by a police car. The first shot of the car has a perfect body and seconds later it's all torn up before it hits the ground. (01:15:00)

Correction: This scene takes place in the junkyard. First off, it's not a police car that comes over the hill, it's one of the Allcom vehicles. Secondly, it is not "all torn up" before it hits the ground. There is some heavy damage to the passenger's side front (from scraping along the trailers earlier). The front of the vehicle does not "disintegrate" until it actually hits the ground.

Galaxy Quest (1999)

Corrected entry: In the fair, when the group of boys is questioning Nesmith, he yells at them and says, "There's no goddamn ship." The camera is focused on the group of boys, and what we hear Nesmith say doesn't match what he is mouthing. (00:10:35)

csteel310

Correction: All we see here is the back of Tim Allen's head (as you said - the camera is focused on the nerds) - so how do we know what he's mouthing or that it doesn't match the dialogue?

The Mexican (2001)

Corrected entry: When the guy gets shot while relieving himself, if people a bit more than 10 metres away were shooting (and they were drunk) with the speed of a bullet, wouldn't it go a bit further than that?

Correction: The wound is clearly shown to be on the top of the head and there are several scenes showing drunken people firing pistols into the air and there's a scene of Jerry dodging bullets that are falling from the sky. Jerry even mentions this to Ted as he's explaining what happened. A bullet fired straight up would be expected to fall within a certain radius of the shooter.

Tax Dude

Corrected entry: In the scene where Lara and Reiss are in the area with the cradle of life (before Reiss dies), the box is near the center right of the acid pit. But when Reiss dangles Lara over the acid pit, the box is near the middle.

Correction: In the overhead view, there is an outcropping of rock which effectively hides part of the acid pool, making it look like the box is off center.
