Continuity mistake: After Nicholas casts an evil spell on his audience beneath the tent, Tenderheart Bear jumps on stage and tries to control the situation. Meanwhile, there's a melee going on in the crowd. Some children are fighting right in front of the stage over Tenderheart's shoulder, most notably when Nicholas shouts "Sticks!" Suddenly, he and the evil spirit make an escape via green whirlwind. At this moment take a look right below stage level: apparently nobody is there at all. But in the final shot of the scene, after Tenderheart announces "This is a job for all the Care Bears," another view of the stage (virtually identical to the one just mentioned) now reveals lots of children fighting with one another. Continuity mistake: During "In a Care Bear Family," Tenderheart Bear starts leading the Care Bears and Cousins up a ramp in the Hall of Hearts. When they all shout "Yeah!", part of a window can be seen where the clouds and sky are dark. In a few moments everybody walks outside, but now the sky is mostly sunny and bright. (01:08:25)

Continuity mistake: After Nicholas casts his final spell, the Care Bears organize themselves to execute a stare; but suddenly the evil spirit knocks them into the line of carts. Keep an eye on the front seats where Friend Bear and Tenderheart land. As the carts begin rolling away, notice how Bedtime Bear's legs stick out from beneath Friend Bear, and Funshine Bear's head is obscured by Tenderheart. However, in the next shot Bedtime Bear's legs are nowhere in sight and Funshine Bear's head rests awkwardly upon her own lap. (01:00:20)

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning when Mr. Cherrywood agrees to tell the children a story, four boys and four girls sprint over to two separate beds - where they all stay and listen for the remainder of the movie. In the immediate vicinity of the boys' bed is a nightstand with a half-filled drinking glass and a ball on top. Hanging from the wall above the headboard is a framed picture as well. Once Mr. Cherrywood wraps up his story, he and Mrs. Cherrywood start carrying the children to their own beds. But just before Tenderheart Bear peeks through the window, notice how the framed picture has become a poster fastened with two pieces of tape and the drinking glass has transformed into a table lamp. Continuity mistake: In an attempt to save Kim and Jason from the evil spirit's bird, Playful Heart Monkey climbs the nearest tree, grabs hold of a green vine and swings right into the bird's path. In the next shot, watch as Playful Heart comes into view on the right side of the screen. Here, the vine has changed its color to purple all of a sudden. (00:45:30)

Continuity mistake: By the first twenty minutes it's established that Friend Bear's tummy symbol is two crisscrossed flowers, one of which has a green leaf on the stem. In the scene where Grumpy Bear spots Tenderheart's out of control rainbow roller, one shot shows Friend Bear and Secret Bear looking on helplessly. But notice how her leaf is missing, only to reappear when Wish Bear says "Oh, no!" a moment later. (00:21:15)

Continuity mistake: When Nicholas and Tenderheart are struggling to close the evil spirit's book, Secret Bear rushes over to create a key out of thin air. Meanwhile over a dozen onlooking Care Bears and Cousins are waiting anxiously from the rails. After Jason finally manages to lock the book, there's a shot of the entire group jumping around and cheering; but notice how almost everybody is standing in a different location this time. In addition, Champ and Bedtime Bear have disappeared completely. (01:04:35)

Continuity mistake: After the rainbow rescue beam transports Kim, Jason, Secret Bear and Friend Bear to Care-a-Lot, many onlookers appear to be stunned. At this point, Cheer Bear says "Oh my stars!" Notice how one of her tummy symbol's rainbow stripes is dark blue. In the following shot, however, a light blue stripe appears instead. (00:11:45)

Continuity mistake: After Cozy Heart Penguin is introduced, an evil barracuda sets out to trap the cloud clipper in a whirlpool - and it's not long before Tenderheart loses control of his steering wheel. Up above the deck we can see the mast rotating on a fixed point in a counterclockwise manner; but in the next shot its motion has suddenly wandered dramatically off-center. (00:36:50)

Continuity mistake: After Mr. Cherrywood performs a brief juggling act for the children, he wishes everyone a good night and gets ready to leave the room, placing his right hand on the door's edge. But after they call him back to recite a bedtime story, Mr. Cherrywood's hand is now on the doorknob instead. (00:01:05)

Continuity mistake: When Braveheart Lion climbs the tree and extends his hand in an attempt to save Kim, Jason, Secret Bear and Friend Bear as they dangle from a branch, it finally snaps off. However, the branch is nowhere to be seen as everyone falls to the clouds in the next shot. (00:27:45)

Continuity mistake: Throughout the movie on many occasions, a blue staircase with three steps is visible at the foot of Fetuccini's trailer door. But in one scene where Fetuccini announces that Nicholas will headline his latest magic act, notice how the staircase has two steps all of a sudden. (00:07:10 - 01:06:35)

Continuity mistake: When Nicholas first realizes that an evil spirit is talking through the book, he is astonished and begins to stagger back. Behind him is a shelf with books and a cage. Notice how three books on the left hand side of the cage are stacked with their spines facing right. But later on when Tenderheart releases himself from the cage, these books are stacked differently - with the center book's spine now facing out. (00:09:15 - 00:18:30)

Continuity mistake: When Fetuccini is giving Nicholas a magic lesson, he pulls a wand from his chest pocket and uses it to make a hand of cards spring out from his left hand. But two shots later, after Nicholas scatters an entire deck all over the floor, Fetuccini's wand is suddenly missing. (01:06:45)

Continuity mistake: During the intro of "Home Is In Your Heart," Friend Bear and the others are shown walking on a trail decorated with colorful stars. But as she begins to sing in the next shot, all of the stars have changed color to yellow. (00:29:35)

Continuity mistake: When Nicholas opens the door to reveal that Fetuccini has been possessed by a sleeping spell, a top hat and cape are visible, hanging from their own hooks on a nearby coat rack. But soon the evil spirit convinces Nicholas to perform magic tricks on Fetuccini's behalf. Once he reaches over to grab the hat and cape, they are suddenly hanging by the same hook. Continuity mistake: After the evil spirit's tree picks up Kim and Jason with its limbs, Friend Bear shouts "You asked for it!" and starts running over to confront it. In this shot, two small red hearts are visible on both of her sides, though they're only supposed to appear on a Care Bear's right side. (00:40:45)

Continuity mistake: When the entire Care Bear family is first shown sitting around the heart-shaped table as Tenderheart speaks, notice how a pink wall surrounds the door frame in the background. But as everyone starts hopping over the table, all of a sudden there are clouds outlining the frame. (01:07:05)

Continuity mistake: When Swift Heart Rabbit darts over to the evil spirit's tree, she first encounters Secret Bear - who is tangled in a vine surrounded by colorful leaves. However, the tree only had solid purple leaves initially. (00:41:05)

Continuity mistake: When Nicholas and Tenderheart are on the castle's cart track struggling to keep the evil spirit's book closed, Jason walks over with Secret Bear's key which will lock it away for good. As he fastens the lock, notice how Jason is kneeling down between the two steel rails of the track. For a moment the scene cuts over to several onlooking Care Bears and Cousins; but the next shot reveals Jason kneeling on the other side of the rails. (01:04:35)
