Deliberate mistake: When Bastian comes running up the stairs by the harbour, you can see a black couple on the right. The woman is wearing a grey coat with a black vest and a white shirt. The man is wearing a black coat, black shoes and white socks. When it cuts to Bastian running across the street, you can see the exact same couple wearing the exact same clothing crossing the street, but this time they are not walking together. Deliberate mistake: While in the Japanese bath you see the fat samurai swim in the "pool" with an underwater camera. But when on the surface you can see the "pool" is no more than a man's length, in other words he could not have been swimming in there. (00:42:45)

Deliberate mistake: Mays Gilliam and the girl is standing and are about to kiss someone suddenly shouts, "Freeze." They are now totally surrounded by cars and armed policemen. Wouldn't Gilliam and the girl notice them arriving before they were about to kiss and before the man shouted? (00:49:00)

Deliberate mistake: Jimmy catches a fly in the air and puts it in his mouth. He then spits it out with great power. You then hear a "Bzzzzz." assuredly made by the fly. How can a fly flap its wings when spit out in that velocity? (00:48:30)
