Revealing mistake: Phil, who is possessed by Jason, puts shaving cream on Josh's moustache. Then, he takes a razor and begins to shave his stubble off, and then his moustache - however, you can quite clearly see that Josh's moustache is not there anyway, and has disappeared between shots. Revealing mistake: As Agent Marcus runs through the woods, away from Jason, all she wears is a white towel around her body, which is just tucked in and over at the top. However it is very obvious that the towel is clipped together round the waist, in order for it not to fall of, most obvious because she trips, climbs over branches, etc. and the towel is always tightly secured. (00:05:15)

Revealing mistake: When the chef swipes the knife, he hits another alien in the chest cutting him vertically. There is already a cut/rip in his shirt, where the chef rips. (00:58:45)

Later, when Mr Duvall has the book, he opens it saying "Why would Regina refer to herself..." and he then looks at the page and reads "As a Fugly Slut?" However, watch as Mr Duvall opens the Burn Book - the page he has it opened at is blank at the top and there is no writing on it at all. (01:00:15 - 01:02:25)

Revealing mistake: As Leatherface breaks parts of the front door out with his chainsaw, there are three very large cracks in the door, presumeably to help him break the parts of the door out. In all previous shots/scenes, there were no cracks in the same part of the door. (00:37:05)

Revealing mistake: In the end when Jenny is sitting in a chair at the hospital with a doctor, in the glass screen behind the doctor you can see the reflection of the gurney which will be pushed on-screen in a few seconds. The doctor is obviously waiting with the gurney for his cue to come past. (01:19:10)

Revealing mistake: When Jenny jumps through the window, as she lands on the roof she rolls to the side and her legs fly upward. You can clearly see she has protective padded socks on. She is barefoot in all previous and following shots. (00:37:45)

Revealing mistake: As she is chased by Leatherface, Jenny runs to Darla's real estate trailer and bangs on the door. As soon as the trailer comes into shot, you can clearly see through the glass of the door, Darla is standing by the door already (waiting for cue) and then she opens the door after a few seconds, in suprise.
