Suggested correction: Tim actually makes a general joke comment about mother-in-laws. Then he says to Al: "You don't want to irritate any mother-in-laws, though, do you?", possibly meaning that Al does not want to offend any of their viewers. Or maybe it's a jab about Al not having a wife and therefore not having a mother-in-law.
