Continuity mistake: In the movie Band Camp, which takes place in 2005, Jim's dad tells Matt Stifler that Michelle is pregnant, so Jim's son should be 7 years old in this film, not 2.
American Reunion (2012)
Directed by: Hayden Schlossberg, Jon Hurwitz
Starring: Eugene Levy, Seann William Scott, Tara Reid, Jason Biggs, Jennifer Coolidge, Chris Klein, Alyson Hannigan
Other mistake: In the bar scene they show an online video of Jim and Nadia. The angle of the video is from the movie but the web camera in the computer was situated in the left of the scene, so the position of the online video is not correct. (00:19:02)
Continuity mistake: When Jim is talking to Kara at the end of the movie, her hair changes position with every shot. From covering her entire shoulder to not covering her shoulder at all.
Trivia: While this film is the fourth main-series entry, it is technically the eighth film in the overall franchise, as four direct-to-video spin-off movies were released between the third film (2003's "American Wedding") and this film. Eugene Levy is the only actor to appear in all eight films, and co-star Chris Owen is the only other actor besides Levy to appear in both the theatrical films (including a cameo in this entry) and one of the spin-offs. (With a role in the first spin-off "American Pie presents: Band Camp.").
Trivia: This film was originally intended to be the final chapter in the entire franchise, though since its release, it has been revealed that there have been talks for further films which would be released occasionally and allow the audiences to catch-up with the characters throughout their lives.
Steve Stifler: Ladies, you'd better be working hard - you weren't hired for your looks. Actually you were. Not you.
Stifler's Mom: I once caught Steven sticking my hairbrush up his ass. It wasn't the handle side either.
Steve Stifler: I ain't worth jack shit, D-Ron.
Question: Can someone please explain the photos in the yearbook? It seems like it was the gang in 1999, but they never posed for those photos in the first American Pie.

Chosen answer: They have been friends for a long time. They had plenty of time to take pictures. We only see them on screen for a few hours of their lives spread over a short while.
