Trivia: Frances Conroy plays Peter Krause's mother in the series, even though in real life she's only 12 years older than him.
Nate: Why do you treat me like shit all the time, Brenda?
Brenda: Because I've had a really fucked-up life and I need sarcasm to hide how ridiculously miserable I am.
Celeste: You ever been with a woman?
Officer Keith Charles: Of course.
Celeste: I don't get fucked in the ass.
Officer Keith Charles: That makes one of us.
Brenda: The future is just a fucking concept that we use to avoid living today.
Question: At the end of the last ever episode, when Claire is taking the family photo, Nate whispers in her ear 'You can't take a picture unless it's already gone.' What does he mean by that?
Question: Is there any indication as to how and why Lisa Kimmel died?
Chosen answer: It is strongly implied that Lisa was murdered by her brother-in-law Hoyt, with whom she had been having an affair. When Nate confronts Hoyt about Lisa's disappearance, Hoyt shoots himself dead before the question is finally resolved.
Question: Is there a website which explains how some of the main character's die at the end of the show? I know how Keith, David and Federico die, but what about Ruth, Brenda and Claire?
Answer: http://www.hbo.com/sixfeetunder/obituary/episode63.shtml.
Answer: Nate actually say "You can't take a picture of this, it's already gone." It's kinda hard to explain, but he's referring to the fact that the moment Claire wants to take a picture of is over already, and she can't take a photo of it, just a different, lesser moment.
