Other mistake: In the scene where Madonna is pouring candle wax on Defoe, once they start having sex (with Madonna on top), you can clearly see Defoe's manhood poking out where it shouldn't. I realise they're not actually having sex, but shouldn't it be taped up out of sight?
Body of Evidence (1993)
Directed by: Uli Edel
Starring: Julianne Moore, Willem Dafoe, Joe Mantegna, Anne Archer, Madonna, Charles Hallahan
Continuity mistake: When Madonna has her legs wrapped around Willem Dafoe in the parking lot sex scene, in one shot she is looking down at him with a sly smile as if to say she's enjoying it; the very next shot she's got her head up looking as if she's in an excruciating amount of pain.
Factual error: The DA says that Madonna is a suspect because the dead millionaire left her a huge amount of money in his will. He calls this 'Probable Cause'. For a DA and supposed expert at law, he should know that this would be a 'Motive' to murder the guy, not 'Probable Cause'.
Rebecca Carlson: There's nothing wrong with admitting that you want me, Frank.
Rebecca Carlson: My way.
Robert Garrett: Miss Carlson, you stated that you handcuffed Andrew Marsh before having sex with him the night of his death.
Rebecca Carlson: It wasn't before. It was during.
