Continuity mistake: Just after Tommy sings under the waterfall (completely soaked) he climbs out the top and emerges completely dry.
Revealing mistake: When Tommy's parents die he puts their hands together. As the camera shows the close-up of their hands his mother's pinky finger twitches.
Trivia: Ken Russell wanted Christopher Lee to play The Specialist. However, Lee was unavailable, filming The Man With the Golden Gun in Bangkok. Russell eventually cast Jack Nicholson.
Trivia: While filming "Champagne," Ann-Margret gashed her arm on a piece of broken glass. The cut required 24 stitches to close.
Trivia: Ann-Margret plays Roger Daltrey's mother in the movie, even though in real life she's only three years older than him.
