Revealing mistake: When Sera is explaining to Yugi why she gave him the puzzle piece, in the shot where she says "He's giving in to fear and anger," Yugi is supposed to be looking at her, but his eyes do not appear to be aligned with her face. He is looking straight forwards instead of downwards. (01:12:55)
Continuity mistake: When the main characters are discussing their plans after high school, Tea stands up and tells Yugi it is his turn to tell them what his plans are. When she stands, she is standing at an angle perpendicular to Yugi, but in the next shot, she has rotated and is standing directly beside him. (00:05:56)
Continuity mistake: After Aigami tells the bullies, "That is why you must vanish," the lead bully starts asking him, "Do you..." In this shot, two other bullies can be seen behind him, and no other bullies are visible in the frame. In the shot after that, the left arm of the larger bully can be seen and is aligned with the lead bully and the blue-haired bully, which should have been visible in the previous shot. (00:11:43)
