Continuity mistake: The Judge and son are standing by the side of the road and there's a black bag on the ground between them. When they leave there is no bag on the ground.
The Judge (2014)
Directed by: David Dobkin
Starring: Robert Duvall, Robert Downey Jr., Billy Bob Thornton, Vera Farmiga, Dax Shepard, Leighton Meester
Genres: Drama
Continuity mistake: The Judge and son are sitting on the porch. The Judge is drinking, one glass, one bottle, then the son has a glass in his hand to have a drink too.
Factual error: In the scene in the basement during the storm Dale is running the projector on house electricity. The lights go out and he switches to a battery which must be 12 volt. He runs the projector on that current, which is impossible.
Samantha Powell: Dammit, Hank. I loved you then and I love you now. I do. I love how you are simultaneously the most selfish and the most generous person I know. I love how you hate a bully while being one. But your constant second-guessing of others, that crystal-ball bullshit? That hyperverbal vocabulary-vomit thing that you do? I disappeared around you, Hank.
Hank Palmer: Say it again.
Samantha Powell: All of it?
Samantha Powell: Whatever had or hadn't happened in the past, I was gonna be the hero of my own story.
C.P. Kennedy: Now, what exactly is our target juror?
Judge Joseph Palmer: Intelligent people who will listen to instructions and follow the evidence.
Hank Palmer: Crackpots. Those I can persuade to swallow their own tongue. Anyone who's seen a Sasquatch. Moon-landing deniers. Those are our people.
Question: Why did Judge Palmer collapse after watching the video footage of him in the store with Mark Blackwell? Also, instead of picking up the phone, couldn't the deputies have simply called in an ambulance over their radios?
