Transcendence

Character mistake: The doctor diagnosing Will's illness tells Evelyn and Max that it's caused by "an isotope called polonium." Polonium is a chemical element, not an isotope. The word "isotope" refers to a form of an element (such as carbon-12 or carbon-14) not the element itself. It does not mean "radioactive substance", because many isotopes are stable. A doctor would know this. (00:17:00)

Factual error: The solar panels (or mirrors) are facing away from the sun. The sun's position can be estimated from ground shadows and object highlights and the panels are facing in completely the wrong direction. (01:11:40)

Will Caster: My wife has always been eager to change the world. But I'll just settle for understanding it first.

Agent Buchanan: We're all gonna need someone to blame when thing goes sideways.
Colonel Stevens: It's already sideways.

Max Waters: Are you sure about this?
Will Caster: Good enough for the monkey.
