Continuity mistake: When Spike is captured by the dog catcher at the end of the cartoon, you can see that there is a padlock on the door of the van, but when Jerry is chasing the van in the next shot, the padlock has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Tom is cutting the bread after trapping Jerry between the two pieces, the position of Tom's fork changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Spike tells Tom that he will "pound him to pieces" if he threatens Jerry again, you can see Spike has a collar around his neck. In the next shot, the collar has gone, and in the shot after that, it is back again.
