Batman defeats the leader of the Mutant gang. The group splits up and part of the result is a new vigilante group called "The Sons of Batman." The citizens of Gotham City are inspired by Batman's actions and start to take a stand against crime. The news about Batman wakes up The Joker from this catatonic state.
