Daffy Duck in Hollywood

Continuity mistake: When filming begins of the romantic scene between the rooster and hen, the two drop their hats behind them on the ground. But in a full length view of Daffy kissing the hen, the hats have disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Daffy is sitting in the director's seat at the end of the cartoon, the band around his cigar is yellow. But when the chef brings along his lunch in a platter, the band is now green.

Continuity mistake: When we see a close up of Von Hamburger's lighter, we see him pushing a lever that operates a small finger on a spring lighting a match with its nail. But when we see Von Hamburger lighting his cigarette in the next shot, the finger has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When we see the film producer at his desk at the start of the cartoon, he initially has nothing in front of him, but when he sends Daffy out of his office, we cut back to the producer and a telephone has suddenly appeared.

Continuity mistake: Von Hamburger and the producer go to the movie theatre to watch the completed film and they sit at the back of the theatre to watch it. But when the film ends, the two have moved positions and are now at the front row.

Continuity mistake: When Von Hamburger and the producer sit at the movie theatre to watch the completed film, they sit at the back and you can see there is an empty seat between them. When the film begins, we see the back of the two and they are sitting side by side.

Continuity mistake: Von Hamburger has no buttons on his shirt from the start of the cartoon, but when he is watching his completed film and taking a deep breath, buttons have suddenly appeared.

Continuity mistake: When Von Hamburger shows the producer the completed reel, it has a green spool and he puts it by the side of the producer's desk. Daffy then replaces it with his own film and you can see that the spool is light blue. The spool then becomes green again in the next shot.
