Kit for Cat

Trivia: When Sylvester throws the little orange kitten into a box of rubbish, there is a bottle with a label on it entitled "Pratt's Cocktail Sherry" - a reference to the Looney Tunes layout artist Hawley Pratt.

Trivia: When the orange cat is trying to frame Sylvester by making a lot of noise, he turns on the radio which plays a soap opera where the two main characters, "Melvin" and "Beatrice", take turns trying to kill each other. "Melvin" is Mel Blanc, whereas "Beatrice" is Bea Benaderet.

Continuity mistake: When Sylvester is looking through the dustbins for food at the start of the cartoon, you can see that his dustbin lid has only one scrap of food on it, but when the orange kitten appears in the next shot, there are now two scraps on the lid.
