Factual error: When Ack Ack is collecting shells on the beach for his father, he's really collecting shell casings... which should be where the guns are fired, not where the explosions are.
Factual error: When the guys are putting the boat together, one of them cuts the mast off the top of the Stork and Sons garage and it falls to the ground. The mast should have shattered from being dropped from such a high height, or caused some sort of damage.
Continuity mistake: When the heroes dedicate their boat, Demi Moore's character knocks a hole in the side of the boat. In subsequent shots, the hole looks like it's been partially repaired.
Hoops McCann: Will you watch where you're going! We're heading for the docks.
George Calamari: We've gotta make the boat.
Hoops McCann: Boat? What boat?
George Calamari: What, did you think we were driving to Nantucket? Come on, it's an island.
Hoops McCann: You never mentioned any boats! I hate boats! I'm not getting on any boat.
