Continuity mistake: When Fagin meets Jenny on the pier, there's a tanker visible in the background nearby. But a moment later, after Fagin takes one step in Jenny's direction, the tanker instantly moves much further away down the pier. (00:54:15)

Continuity mistake: At one point during Sykes and Fagin's first meeting on the pier, Sykes opens the door and empties an ashtray all over Fagin's shoe. But in the following shot the ashes and cigar butts have disappeared and Sykes' hand is suddenly back inside the vehicle. (00:19:45)

Continuity mistake: When Dodger is teasing Oliver with the string of sausages near a sunglasses vendor, some sunglasses on display hang themselves over the table's edge within a couple of shots. (00:10:50)

Continuity mistake: In Fagin's houseboat where Dodger gives Oliver a choice of staying or going back to Jenny, Oliver approaches the staircase. A dirty rag can be seen hanging below the third step, but a couple of shots later the rag has vanished. (00:47:35)

Continuity mistake: When sitting down in the recliner, Fagin notices Oliver's new 5th Avenue license and grabs onto it with his left thumb and index finger. But in the next shot, Fagin has the license in the palm of his hand instead. (00:48:00)

Continuity mistake: As Francis is standing atop a stack of teetering boxes just outside of Sykes' shipyard office, both front paws are at his side when he starts saying "Farewell, Dulcinea" with a dramatic tone of voice. But in the next shot his left paw is suddenly lifted high into the air. (00:57:40)

Continuity mistake: Outside of the pawn shop where the strays wait for Fagin, Einstein and Rita are seated on the sidewalk. But once Dodger and Tito run onscreen in the following shot, they're suddenly standing up instead. (00:37:55)

Continuity mistake: After Winston warns Georgette to stay away from the kitchen, she walks in at her own risk only to see Oliver eating food from her dish. All the while, the kitchen door has somehow vanished from its hinges between shots. (00:36:45)

Continuity mistake: After Jenny's limo pulls away with Oliver still inside, Francis can be seen with the other strays near a garbage pile. He's got a toilet seat wrapped around his head, but he keeps disappearing from it between shots as Tito explains what happened. (00:32:00)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Fagin approaches Sykes with an airtight plan to repay the money he owes, watch how the office door shade in the background pulls itself up at one point. In addition, the word 'office' appears on the door for a brief time, only to disappear in the midst of Dodger's fight with Roscoe and DeSoto. (00:51:40)

Continuity mistake: When Jenny is searching for Oliver at home, she approaches the mail slot - where a folded piece of paper has been placed. But the paper unfolds on its own between shots. (00:49:40)

Continuity mistake: Just before Fagin sits down in his recliner to read a bedtime story for the strays, Dodger pushes a button on its armrest to tilt the seat. But one shot later, the button is nowhere to be found. (00:24:30)

Continuity mistake: The number of steps on Georgette's dog bed staircase changes from time to time, depending on the shot. When Georgette is introduced, there are nine steps initially, but eleven steps appear instead as she descends to make herself up in the following shot. And later on when all of the strays trick Winston into thinking nobody is in the room, the staircase has eight steps. (00:33:00 - 00:45:05)

Continuity mistake: After Fagin kicks off his waterlogged shoes and sits down in the recliner, Tito slides a pair of rabbit slippers over the wet socks on his feet. In subsequent shots, however, Fagin wears no socks. But then at one point he can be seen with the wet socks on his feet again all of a sudden. (00:23:25)

Continuity mistake: During "Why Should I Worry", a pair of sunglasses lands on Dodger's head. In this shot we can see a woman walking her two dogs near the intersection. But watch as a green car appears from nowhere between shots, suddenly parked in the background right behind the dogs. (00:11:00)

Continuity mistake: When Roscoe puts his nose up to Einstein's for being told to pick on someone his own size, Roscoe snaps back and says "Like you, old man?" But in the next shot, their noses are a couple of feet apart from each other instead. (00:20:55)

Continuity mistake: When Georgette and the strays are on a catwalk overhearing a telephone conversation between Sykes and Winston, Tito - standing in front of Rita - disappears from the group between shots. (00:59:05)

Continuity mistake: Right before Tito and Oliver jump out from the side alley onto Jenny's limo, Tito places his arm around Oliver's shoulder. But between shots, the alley's surroundings change dramatically. The sidewalk vanishes, and a garbage pail & drain grate disappear as well. (00:29:40)

Continuity mistake: After Oliver and Tito jump into Jenny's limo, Tito grabs the steering wheel and starts to make honking sounds. But between shots, the wheel rotates all by itself. (00:30:50)

Continuity mistake: In the "Why should I worry?" song scene, the red scarf on Dodger's neck appears and disappears between shots, for instance, it is not shown when he is on top of the woman's car nor after but when he scares the woman it is visible on his neck.
