Olivia Castle: This just got way more fun.
William Bludworth: Death... doesn't like to be cheated.
Continuity mistake: In the premonition right near the end, you see the truck hanging over the bridge and that is how the poles and that sheet of metal kill two of the main characters. Yet when they run to the end of the bridge, the truck is not hanging over the edge.
Trivia: Roy's racecar in the photos of him on the bar at the end is the same car that causes the crash in FD4 - you can see it in the end credits rerun of prior film scenes.
Question: Throughout the whole film series, how is it that Bludsworth knows how to cheat Death and if the main characters are supposed to die, then why does he tell them how to do it?
Answer: Bludsworth's backstory has never been addressed in the series. He seems to have an intimate understanding of the supernatural nature of death but how he knows this is never explained. Why he gives the characters advice is also never explained, however he seems to be legitimately interested in whether or not the characters will succeed in cheating death because it seems to be impossible.
Suggested correction: While it is the same vehicle from the previous film, it is not Roy's racecar. He is a plant worker and merely posing with the same car as a fan.
Which would still make it a trivia connection.
