Question: At one point, Blue Raja mistakenly says that Bowler's father's name was Sal, which she immediately corrects as being Carmine. I never caught this till now after watching a recent animated Batman movie, but two of the big mob bosses that are rivals in Batman are Sal Maroni and Carmine Falcone. Considering the influences of this movie, is this intended to be a reference to the two Batman mob bosses?

Directed by: Kinka Usher
Starring: Ben Stiller, William H. Macy, Geoffrey Rush, Hank Azaria, Janeane Garofalo
Continuity mistake: When the squad is making new costumes with the Sphinx and the Shoveller is talking to someone, the tape measure keeps changing places. First it's outside his collar, then it's inside it.
The Shoveller: God's given me a gift. I shovel well. I shovel very well.
Trivia: Listen to what the Blue Raja says when Captain Amazing has finished beating up the Red Eyes, he says something like: "With the punching and the hurting", this is a reference to the Simpsons, Professor Frink (voiced by the person who plays the Blue Raja) talks just like that.
Question: What are those metal things Mr. Furious wears on his forearms?
Chosen answer: Gauntlets that look cool and would help him block blows in hand-to-hand. (If he wasn't so bad at it, anyway.)

Answer: Possibly, but it's more likely these are just stereotypical Italian names that the writers chose.
