"Paranormal Activity 2" never quite measures up to the original when it comes to the "creeps" department, but it's a solid effort and is worth seeing for fans of the original. With a larger and generally likable cast, and a few good jumps thrown in, it's a lot of fun. It also has some interesting expansions to the mythology that I quite liked as an admirer of the first film. I'd give a 3.5 out of 5, rounding up to 4 for the MovieMistakes.com rating system.

Revealing mistake: At the end when Katie enters Hunter's room and throws Kristi against the camera, Katie's reflection in the wardrobe mirror shows her in a different position from when she attacks Kristi, to after she drops out of view.

Ali Rey: I don't know if the house is haunted, but I hope it is.

Trivia: Spoilers: An alternate ending in which Katie kills baby Hunter instead of kidnapping him was filmed, but never shown due to it being too bleak. It was also decided that Katie kidnapping the child was far scarier, so the new theatrical ending was shot to take its place.

Question: How did Hunter get back in the crib since Ali was locked out of the house? Security video showed him being lifted out of the crib but doesn't show how he got back in. When mom and dad got home he was back in the crib and Ali was outside the house.

Answer: More than likely the demonic spirits placed him back in, since they were shown to be frequently interacting with him.
