Iron Man 2

Continuity mistake: When Mickey Rourke is introduced to Sam Rockwell, they sit down for a rather lavish lunch in the Hammer aircraft hangar. As Sam drones on in his introductory remarks, the camera watches a waiter starting to pour red wine into the glass directly in front of Mickey Rourke. The camera cuts back to Sam, and Mickey's wineglass is already full. Camera cuts back to Mickey, and the full wineglass has moved about a foot to Mickey's right, although he hasn't touched it.

Revealing mistake: During the scene where the prism accelerator beam cuts through some objects, it is visible that the metal cabinet it goes through is pre-cut, and falls apart before the beam is even halfway through.

Revealing mistake: In the scene where the Senator is presenting the awards at the end of the movie, one of the microphones (third from the left) on the podium does not have a cable plugged in, which can also be seen in the next shot. In the proceeding close up shot, the mistake cannot be seen. In the very final shot before the credits roll, the same mistake can be seen. (01:56:10 - 01:57:00)

Senator Stern: Our priority here is to have you turn over the Iron Man weapon to the American people.
Tony Stark: Well, you can forget it. We're safe. America is secure. You want my property - you can't have it! But I did you a big favor. I have successfully privatized world peace.

Trivia: During the film's climax, a young boy in an Iron Man mask is shown standing up to one of the Hammer drones with Iron Man swooping in and destroying the drone and giving the kid the credit. Following Spider-Man's inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a fan theory suggested the young boy was Peter Parker, which Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and Spider-Man actor Tom Holland would later retroactively confirm.

Question: Can someone please tell me why Stark brought strawberries when he visits Pepper in her office? He knows that she is allergic to them and we know that he likes/loves her, but it was a spiteful and mean thing to do. Not to mention insensitive. If he did that just to get the model, couldn't he had done it differently? The whole idea just doesn't make sense to me.

Answer: He wanted to do something nice for her, but since he is a pretty self-absorbed, shallow multi-billionaire, he forgot about her allergy. He remembered that there was SOMETHING about her and strawberries, but misremembered and thought it meant she really liked them. He makes a simple human mistake, not out of meanness or spite, but because he honestly does not remember.

Answer: I've only watched this movie once but I think he got the strawberries from the man on the side of the road, and he just didn't want them. The man did just place them on the seat of Tony's car.

He stopped on the side of the road to get the strawberries. The man didn't throw them into his car as he drove by.
