Plot hole: After the scene at the Houses of Parliament where Irene Adler escapes through the sewer from the clutches of Lord Blackwood, she suddenly appears at Tower Bridge, about 3 miles away. Even assuming she ran there and the journey was skipped, going there makes zero sense. It slows her down, leaves her exposed and limits her exit points - she's got all of London to escape into! Sherlock Holmes (2009)
1 plot hole - chronological order
Directed by: Guy Ritchie
Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Eddie Marsan
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Watson and Adler are laying out the map, they place two objects on the map to hold it down. In the very next clip where it shows Holmes talking, you see Watson and Adler placing those same objects on the map.
Dr. Watson: Get that out of my face
Sherlock Holmes: It's not in your face, it's in my hand.
Dr. Watson: Get what's in your hand out of my face.
Trivia: During the film Holmes and Watson are analyzing a pocket watch as a key piece of evidence. Their observations of the watch being scratched by a frequently drunken man's hand, and it being engraved by numerous local pawn shops is paraphrased from the classic Sherlock Holmes novel: The Sign of Four.
