Judge Dredd

Question: Why do some Judges have a sort of eagle on their armour, when some are just symmetrical?

Answer: The 'Full Eagle' and 'Half Eagle' are badges of status amongst the Judges.

Question: Why is Hershey always going into the men's changing/locker room?

Answer: She is not. The judges have unisex locker rooms. Later in the movie when another female judge opens a locker, a male is in the background wearing a towel, which shows they all share the same locker room.

Question: The clones are released prematurely, one even sits up. Then the facility seems to spontaneously explode. What caused this? What happened to that one clone.

Answer: The facility only ever cloned Rico and Dredd. It had never been tested at max capacity. The equipment was also 30 years old and Rico tried to birth the clones early which the system wasn't designed for. The stress of all these things added up to destroy it.

Question: How exactly did the chief justice taking "the long walk" help to keep the Janus project secret? They were worried Dredd's conviction would cause the media to dig, but he was convicted of murder regardless of his execution. Wouldn't the chief justice retiring over it make the media even MORE eager to dig?

Answer: It is explained in the movie that he takes the long walk to spare Judge Dredd's life. When he takes the long walk he gets a final wish. His was to spare Dredd. Therefore the meaning of his Long walk was for that. There was no mention of the Cheif resigning helping to cover up the Janus project though.

Grumpy Scot

Answer: In the comics, he was known as (quite simply) Rico Dredd. Everyone knew Joe and Rico were clones and brothers right from the start, but they changed this in the movie to give it a little extra suspense.

Question: When Rico goes into that place with the big robot, is it me, or is the bloke behind the counter the person that plays Minty in Eastenders?

Answer: No, it is not Minty, but Ian Dury, as in Ian Dury and the Blockheads.

Mad Ade

Continuity mistake: In the scene where one of the "high council" is speaking (behind a desk or pedastal), there is a close-up shot of the highest ranking council member's face. In his nostril you can see a dry booger. They then change the shot and then come back to a close-up of his face. The booger is no longer there. Sorry if this is a bit gross, but I found it amusing.
