Continuity mistake: When Mitch is eating the sandwich brought to him by Griff, he originally takes a bite out of the right corner of the sandwich. A later scene shows him taking a second bite but it is now on the left side. A few scenes later, the bite mark returns to a single bite mark on the right corner of the sandwich.
Factual error: Although set in rural Wyoming, Einar's truck is a mid-60's Mercury brand pickup. Mercury brand trucks were only sold in Canada.
Factual error: Toward the end of the film, when Gary is riding a bus from Wyoming through Nebraska he should be traveling towards the east. As the bus pulls away from the stop near Loma, Nebraska the sun is on the left side of the bus, indicating that it is traveling to the west.
