Continuity mistake: In the scene in the hotel room, Miles is checking his voice mail, it says to enter the number and press the pound sign. He never presses the pound sign.

Suggested correction: Many phone services will generally continue regularly after asking for the pound sign to be entered even if the pound sign was not actually entered... it just delays a few extra seconds of the call.

Suggested correction: Already posted and corrected. The odometer isn't working. It's broken. It happens.

Continuity mistake: When Jack first meets Maya and they are all having a drink at the bar, Maya is holding a cigarette. We can see she is holding the cigarette up near her face when the camera shows her from behind but is all of a sudden holding it near the bar counter in shots of her face. This continues until about halfway through the scene.

Jack: Are you still seeing that shrink?
Miles Raymond: I saw him on Monday. I spent most of the time helping him with his computer.
Jack: Well, I say, fuck therapy. And what is that stuff you take... Xanax?
Miles Raymond: And Lexapro, yes.
Jack: Well, I say, fuck that too. You need to get your joint worked on, Miles.

Trivia: When Miles is stealing money from his mother he looks at the pictures on her dresser. One of the pictures is of Miles and his Dad. It is actually Miles real dad. Miles is played by Paul Giamatti and his dad is Bart Giamatti former Commissioner of Baseball. That is who is in the picture smiling with Miles.

Question: After Miles accidentally mentioned the rehearsal dinner to Maya, she asked him who's getting married and obviously (though not on camera), he told her Jack, thus starting a big fight with each other. Why did Miles tell her Jack instead of making up a random stranger he could say they knew since already slipping out info about the dinner? She would not have ever known, no fight would have taken place, and Jack would have saved face - literally.

Answer: Miles himself answers this question in the film. He tells Maya that he could have made something up, but chose to tell her the truth because he respected her and didn't want to lie.
