Plot hole: Les comes home and tells his parents he passed his test. A scene later, his mom is going through the laundry and takes the test out of his jeans pocket. How did it get there when Les is still wearing the same outfit he wore to the DMV?

Revealing mistake: When Les' mom is doing the laundry and "finds" the Test Failed notice, you can see that she actually had it in her hands the entire time. She transfers it from one hand into the other, then puts the hand with the paper into the pocket and pulls it right back out, then knocks it off onto the floor, and acts surprised.
Miss Hellberg: Well, Mr. Anderson... We were able to retrieve your test results from the computer. And as I suppose you already know, you failed. God giveth, and the DMV taketh away. You mustn't fuck with the Department of Motor Vehicle. We can make your life a living hell.
Trivia: When Corey Feldman is banging the dent out of the hood of the Cadillac, he says not to worry about waking his parents as they are vampires. Feldman's movie before this one was Lost Boys where he was a vampire killer.
