Factual error: When the Feds are going to the log cabin, while they are outside, gearing up, Arnold casually attaches a silencer, and pulls back the slide of his pistol, but the slide stays in the rearward position, a condition which should only occur when an empty magazine is in the weapon. Arnold notices and tries to push it forward, this doesn't work so Arnold hides it with his hand for the remainder of the scene. (00:42:50)

Continuity mistake: When Robert is strangling his witness we see her grabbing onto the rug with her left hand. When it cuts she suddenly has her hand by Robert's waist. (00:43:55)

Mortug

Continuity mistake: You can see twice when bad guys are shot when the tape is cut and edited. The first one is when Arnold shoots the bad guy with the shot gun when looking for the blonde girl in the house, you can see just before he hits the picture on the wall that the tape is cut and replaced with the real guy instead of the dummy that was hit by the bullet. The second is at the end at the dock when Arnold has two of those really cool guns. He shoots a vehicle full of guys coming towards him and the vehicle blows up and flies over his head, and just before the vehicle blows up, you can see the cut & edit and then the car blows up and flies through the air. Undoubtedly replaced with a toy car that was blown up! (00:44:35)

Continuity mistake: When Kruger is getting dizzy from the poisonous water he stumbles against a seat with both his hands down. When it cuts he suddenly has his right hand against the wall. (00:46:20)

Mortug

Factual error: The bad guys are able to close in on Vanessa Williams at the end by tracing the signal Arnie sends to her beeper. How could they triangulate her location through a passive, receptive device? Maybe if it was a cell phone, but not a pager. (00:50:10)

Continuity mistake: After Arnold wakes up from being drugged on the plane, James Caan is holding up Arnold's gun in a plastic bag. On the close-up the barrel is pointing up, on the wide-angle shot the gun is laying down with the barrel pointing sideways. (00:51:35)

Revealing mistake: When Arnold is in the plane and throws his belt buckle-knife at the traitor. The next shot shows that it bounces off and continues to spin. Pretty obvious that it's held up by a wire. (00:53:10)

Revealing mistake: When Arnie jumps from the plane, notice the stunt double. He weighs about half of what Arnie would, and has no muscles. (00:55:10)

Factual error: When Arnie shoots out the cockpit window, first of all the glass seems about as thick as a Coke bottle which in reality it isn't. Secondly it shatters like one, not like the modern safety glass which it would be made of. (00:56:20)

Continuity mistake: It's astonishing that Arnold still has a gun after he jumps out of the plane since he didn't holster it before he jumped. Still he pulls it out of his holster before he shoots the plane and during the shootout in the zoo. It's also pretty strange that this weapon, a Desert Eagle .357, fits into the holster, since Arnie's first pistol (the one the young Marshal was shot with) is much smaller. Another fascinating thing about the gun is the fact it has a maximum capacity of nine bullets plus one in the chamber but Arnie fires about 15 or 16 times. (00:56:20)

Continuity mistake: When Arnold is hanging under the parachute the plane tries to hit him and he shoots at the plane, breaking the glass of the cockpit windows. When the plane lands later on, the windows are intact again. (00:56:25 - 00:58:15)

Factual error: After removing the first parachute, Arnold uses the emergency one. However, when he deploys it, he is only a few hundred feet off of the ground. At this height, the parachute would do nothing except possibly snap Arnold's spine. (00:57:10)

Other mistake: When Arnold lands on the car in the junk yard, you can see the side windows of the car exploding outward moments before impact. (00:57:10)

Other mistake: When Arnold and Vanessa are in the dead guy's office running the CD, Arnold pulls up the shipping date for the arms deal. The screen shows the date to be "TODAY" and Arnold says "Midnight Tonight." Midnight would be 12:00AM, so the screen ought to read 12:00AM tomorrow morning, not today. (01:22:00)

Continuity mistake: When John Kruger and the woman are discovered in the Cyrez office using the computer, John grabs her with both arms and throws her to the ground. In the next shot, with them still falling on the ground, John now magically has his gun in his hand to start shooting, which isn't possible in the time difference from the previous shot, and the fact he was holding her with two hands. (01:22:50)

Factual error: When the glass shutters come down in the Cyrez building, both he and James Caans' character start shooting at the glass. Bullet proof or not, you would be able to see marks on the glass. (01:24:00)

Visible crew/equipment: When the warehouse has collapsed on Arnold and he is coming out from underneath the rubble, you can see a guy "hidden" behind some tubes, wearing protective eye wear and holding a welding rod to make a shower of sparks (he is only visible in the widescreen DVD version). (01:34:30)

Factual error: Vanessa Williams' character hits a bad guy with the coffee pot from the coffee machine and knocks him out. Unlikely, given that the glass is very thin and light on these pots, and there was virtually no coffee in the pot to give it any weight. (01:38:00)

Continuity mistake: When Arnold blasts out of the warehouse with 2 EM Guns, a man is firing at him, standing right next to a surveillance van. Arnold fires back and blows the whole van up but the man is gone. (01:38:20)

Continuity mistake: After the court scene, when Arnold and Vanessa are making their exit toward the van, they get in, the van explodes and the camera pans to the underside of the van, showing Arnold pulling a manhole cover closed. The manhole cover was not there when they showed the van from a distance and they didn't have enough time to get in the van and escape through the bottom. Also, because several seconds passed before he closed the manhole cover you would have to assume he was still above ground when the bomb went off, therefore killing him. (01:46:20)

Calderon: Don't you ever get tired of babysitting scumbags?
John: Yeah, but in your case I'll make an exception.

Trivia: A projectile hitting the air at near the speed of light" (about 334,800,000 MPH) would instantly vaporise in a huge, blinding flash from the ridiculously intense frictional heating that would occur at such an enormous velocity in the atmosphere. The energy released would probably kill the shooter and anyone standing anywhere near him. Makes for a good movie effect though.
