Continuity mistake: During the escape from Hoth, C-3PO is far behind Han and Leia as they are running to the Millennium Falcon after the cave-in blocks their path. When they reach the door, he is much closer to them. (00:32:40)
Continuity mistake: Just after the Falcon leaves the hangar on Hoth, we see Luke watching the Falcon as it rises up into the sky. Look closely at Luke's head - he is looking at a point ahead of where the Falcon actually is. (00:35:45)
Continuity mistake: When the Falcon is being pursued by the Star Destroyers after escaping Hoth, C-3PO enters the cockpit, attempting to talk with Han, but the ship shakes and he lands on Chewie. Continuity mistake: Widescreen version: When Leia, Han, Chewbacca and C-3PO are first walking through Cloud City, as Han says to Lando, "You sound like a businessman", Chewbacca is walking behind Leia. Continuity mistake: Special edition only: Viewed from inside, the hotel where Leia, Han and Chewbacca are in Cloud City has a flat glass roof, but viewed from outside, it is flat with sloped edges. (01:22:25)
Continuity mistake: When Vader is seen in Cloud City, Lando says, "I had no choice, they arrived right before you did" and two of the stormtroopers on the lowest step are standing about a metre apart. In the following close-up of Lando, they are standing so close together that their ankles are touching. This can only be seen in the widescreen version. (01:25:05)
Answer: Star Wars being for the young and the young at heart, Han and Leia's relationship unfolds in a deliberately childish manner that kids can relate to and adults will find comedic. Leia is irritated at herself for her attraction to Han, and certainly unamused that Han teases her over it, while at the same time he is not brave enough to admit his own feelings, either.
