Jesus: Forgive them, Father. They know not what they do.
Jesus: My heart is ready.
Mary: Flesh of my flesh... Heart of my heart... My son, let me die with you.
Jesus: You have heard it said you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. For if you love only those who love you, what reward is there in that?
Mary: My Son... when, where, how... will You choose to be delivered of this?
Dismas: I ask only that you remember me when you enter your kingdom.
Jesus: Amen, I tell you that you that on this day you will be with me in paradise.
Jesus: So love one another.
Pontius Pilate: I do not want an uprising.
Abenader: There already is an uprising.
Jesus: See, mother, I make all things new.
Jesus: Take this and drink. This is my blood, spilled for you and for many. Do this in memory of me.
Judas: I have sinned, betrayed innocent blood. Take the money back! I don't want it.
Caiphas: If you believe you have betrayed innocent blood, that is your affair. Now, take the money... and go.
Mary: Why is this night different from every other night?
Jesus: Peter! Put it down! Those who live by the sword shall die by the sword.
Jesus: I am the good shepherd. I lay down my life for My sheep. No-one takes my life from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have power to lay it down and the power to take it up again. This command is from my Father.
Jesus: Judas... you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?
Chosen answer: When someone is crucified, they die from suffocation because when the arms are stretched out that far wide and you can't move your legs it is close to impossible to breathe. The platform that their feet were nailed to would serve, for a while, a way to boost your body up enough to be able to take small breaths in and out. Eventually when they were tired of waiting for you to die they would break your legs so you couldn't boost yourself up enough to breathe well and you would asphyxiate quicker. When the storm came after Jesus died, they broke the legs of the 2 thieves, but did not break Jesus's legs. The prophecy stated that the Messiah would die with no broken bones.
