Other mistake: Considering how long the Prime Minister's car is parked outside in front of the only road into the school, where there is to be the school Christmas concert, it's surprising how many cars are still trying to find a parking space. Also, you can see that no cars are driving when Natalie gets out of the Prime Minister's car.

Continuity mistake: After Sarah has called at Harry's office, Harry prepares to open his office door to see her out. The camera cuts back to Sarah for a moment, then back to the camera angle on Harry as she walks to the door. In that short space of time, the sliding cupboard doors have changed their configuration, and the blinds in the upper left of the frame have partially closed. (00:18:45)
Natalie: Hello, David. I mean "sir." Shit, I can't believe I've just said that. Oh, and now I've gone and said "shit" - twice. I'm so sorry, sir.
Prime Minister: It's fine, it's fine. You could've said "fuck", and then we'd have been in real trouble.
Natalie: Thank you, sir. I did have an awful premonition that I was going to fuck up on the first day. Oh, piss it!
Trivia: Alan Rickman and Hugh Grant, both stars of this movie, attended the same private school in Hammersmith, London.
Question: Why are Girls Aloud credited with being on the soundtrack, when that isn't their version of "Jump" which the Prime Minister listens to?

Chosen answer: Irrelevant when it comes to soundtracks, Girls Aloud released a version of Jump to coincide with the movie's release and the video for the song featured scenes from the movie, hence its inclusion.
