Plot hole: It's absolutely senseless that a prestigious and renowned school like Horace Green never asks Dewey, as Ned, for an ID, a school readiness certificate, or something that proves that Dewey is Ned and a real teacher.

Plot hole: Mullins and the parents of the kids could not know that Dewey and the boys went to the rock contest and the location of that place.

Suggested correction: Maybe the bus driver told her. She could easily have phoned him when it was realised that the school bus was missing, as well as the kids. He could have told them exactly where the kids were.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Dewey and Ms. Mullins are in the bar, the shots from behind Ms. Mullins sitting down show that her left hand is on the table. However, the shots showing the front of Ms. Mullins show her arms folded.

Question: When the kids have to pick up Dewey to go to Battle of the Bands, how did they know where he lives?

Answer: It is never said but If I was to guess, they got it from the guy he was pretending to be (Ned's) information from the school office.
