Frances doesn't end up having anything she wantd ie. a wedding, a baby etc. But all those things happen to people around her, and in her house. The polish teenage construction worker gets married to Frances' teenage neighbour, Helen's baby is healty and happy, and the movie ends with Frances flirting with an author she once (badly) reveiwed.

Answer: Zeus' face is not shown because the directors want to leave him to our imagination. Without knowing, he can be whomever we want him to be.
