Visible crew/equipment: When Jake is on the medevac helicopter headed to Billie and Little, you can see the film crew in the bottom left of the screen, before it lands (this is not visible in the widescreen version). (01:18:00)
Other mistake: Why do the good guys keep shooting 2.75in unguided rockets to kill the enemy aircraft? These are designed to kill lightly armored vehicles and trucks on the ground. You would have about as much luck with those as with chucking rocks at planes. There are infared (heat-seeking) Stinger missiles on the wing pylons, we see Billie pull one off and attach the hand held unit to shoot down a jet. Why aren't they using those?
Factual error: The crashed Apache has dirt piled around it as if it hit nose first and slid to a stop. Yet the chopper crashing at over 100 mph didn't even scratch the glass FLIR sensor on the nose. Obviously, dirt was just shoveled around a stationary Apache or a mockup.
Visible crew/equipment: In the middle of the mortar attack on the staging ground, if you look carefully at the AH-64 Apache in the rear you can see what looks like a reflection of the sun, however the sun is not rectangular, so it must be a floodlight.
Visible crew/equipment: When Preston is on the medevac helicopter and is coming in for a landing, you can see the front of the crashed Apache, and a wooden platform and several people in civilian clothes are visible, one possibly holding a camera, and one in full green military fatigues. It's in the very bottom left of the screen right as he takes his helmet off. (01:18:45)
Continuity mistake: Stinger's copilot wears a helmet in the Apache and the simulator that shows the name Warlock. He goes by the name Breaker in the movie.
